Cozy Gaming Parenting Support Group

A gentle, ND-affirming community space for autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD parents

(Non-clinical, non-therapeutic)

Parenting as a neurodivergent adult can feel like a whole quest line with no manual, unexpected boss fights, and a sensory meter that drains fast. This space is here to make that feel less lonely.

Join a low-pressure, cozy gaming meetup hosted in Animal Crossing, where ND parents come together to connect, decompress, and share lived experiences — all inside a world designed for softness, creativity, and zero eye-contact expectations.

This is not therapy.
This is community, validation, laughter, gentle structure, and a place where you don’t have to mask or over-explain.

What will we do?

• Play Animal Crossing in a no-pressure, camera-optional environment
• Share experiences about parenting through a neurodivergent lens
• Learn small, accessible strategies for capacity, communication, and sensory overwhelm
• Celebrate wins! Examples include, “I got everyone fed today”
• Normalize the hard stuff ND parents rarely say out loud
• Build community with people who get it
• Enjoy grounding, cozy gameplay while chatting

It’s soft, warm, playful, real, and designed around the needs of AuDHD brains.

Who is this space for?

This group is perfect for you if you’re a:
• Late-diagnosed autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD parent
• Parent navigating masking, burnout, sensory overload, or executive function challenges
• Caregiver who wants connection without pressure
• ND adult craving a community that understands both your brain and your parenting reality

No art skills, gaming skill, or social-performance energy required.

What this space is not:

• Not therapy
• Not clinical treatment
• Not a crisis service
• Not a space where you have to “show up” perfectly

Just a supportive community hangout designed to be accessible for ND nervous systems.

Why Animal Crossing?

Because cozy gaming creates a regulated, low-demand social environment.
You can chat while you:
• fish
• decorate
• gather flowers
• visit islands
• quietly wander

It reduces overwhelm, supports connection, and gives your brain something soothing to do while you talk.

When is it?

Each weekly session will happen on Thursdays from 6pm-7pm Pacific time. This cohort will run every Thursday at this time for 6 weeks.

How much does it cost?

Each 1 hour session is $35. You can pay for each session you’d like to attend at the SAVE MY SPOT link below when you book. There are no refunds, but rescheduling or credit can be put toward a future session if you’re unable to make a session.
